Baidoa-(Puntland post)-Reports from Bay region indicate that five members of Al-Shabaab died after a land mine they were planting exploded on them.
The militia were allegedly targeting the convoy of Bardaale district commissioner who left Baidoa and was on his way to Bardaale.
The incident happened at Bakale which is between Baiodoa and Bardaade district in Bay region.
Al-Shabaab lost fighters on several occassion in similar circumstances.
