1. Background on Qatar Charity

Qatar charity is humanitarian organization founded at 1980s in Qatar Doha to help and support Qatari society and also the needy communities around the world. It stands for humanitarian mission to break the cycle of poverty and promote recovery and development in order to make life livable.

Qatari charity has been operating in Somali directly since 2007 to actively engage lifesaving initiatives and also contribute grass root development of vulnerable communities through engaging multi-divergent programs that cover: livelihood, WASH, education, emergence relief and recovery, Health and Development.

QC is working strongly to create direct contact with the target group and effectively respond their needs immediately as expected through using professionalism and well organized staff.

1. Position Profile

Health officer is responsible for overall management and coordination of project health activities through working closely with IP and health stakeholders in Puntland.

2.1 Job specifications:

• Administer the work of mobile clinics activities and manage working teams by giving guidance as well as directions
• Generate weekly reports from mobile clinics activity and share with PM.
• Lead planning, organizing and implementation of mobile health clinics.
• Work with the partner to articulate tasks needed to be done, staff screening and     selection of mobile clinic operation site.
• Facilitate the definition of mobile health operation scope, goals and deliverables.
• Coordinate with MoH and Health cluster to identify referral points.
• Work with the guidance of project manager to make sure that activities are in line with project description.
• Mobilization of health staff about the project goal and objectives with the aim of     Improving project success.
• Able to mobilize people of concern about project goals and objective to help them get sensitized. 

2.2 Qualifications

Position holder is required to have degree in Public Health or equivalent, have solid experience (minimum three years) in the field of humanitarian work and their ethical behavior. Candidate should also have excellent managerial skill as well as ability to work with others. Finally Provision of English and Arabic language plus computer skills are mandatory.
